Sport has always played an important role in my life. Born in 2008, I grew up trying many different sports, including athletics, boxing, motorcrossing, tennis, running and strength training. That broad background taught me a lot about movement, discipline and the different ways in which people learn and perform. Over time, however, two sports became especially important to me: karting and skiing.
I started karting at the age of thirteen and soon became involved in competitive racing. Over the years, I have competed at both national and international level, including Dutch and European rental kart championships. One of the highlights of my racing career came in 2024, when I represented the Netherlands at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia, Spain — a major international event that is often described as the Olympic Games of motorsport.
That same year, I became the highest-ranked female driver in the Dutch Championship and finished third in the endurance category, where drivers compete together as a team over longer races. In 2025, I took another step in my development by racing with my own kart, gaining even more experience in technique, preparation and performance under pressure.
I have also been active as a karting and skiing coach. Alongside my work as a coach, I study sport psychology. I am especially interested in the relationship between mental and physical performance: how confidence, focus, motivation, pressure, preparation and recovery can influence the way an athlete performs. I enjoy combining this knowledge with my own experience as an athlete and coach and applying it in a practical way.
Sport Mind & Motion grew from my belief that physical and mental performance should not be treated as two separate things. They constantly influence each other. Through my own experience in sport, coaching and sport psychology, I became interested in bringing those elements together.
That is what Sport Mind & Motion stands for: helping athletes develop physically, mentally and technically. Through Sport Mind & Motion, I want to help others take the next step in their own sporting journey.
